Since 2007 Evolution Outdoors Ltd has provided top quality activity & adventure courses in the beautiful Peak District, leading exciting and exhilarating courses in outstanding locations in the great outdoors. 

Evolution Outdoors Ltd has been providing charity fundraising events in outdoors activities and adrenaline events since 2007 for many charities both in the UK and overseas. 

Evolution Outdoors Ltd is an Approved Activity Provider (AAP) for the Duke of Edinburgh Award, providing complete packages of training and expeditions to schools and groups as well as open expeditions for single members for Bronze, Silver and Gold Awards.

The instructors at Evolution Outdoors have a wealth of experience in delivering adventurous outdoors activities courses to young people and school pupils of all ages. The flexible nature of the outdoors courses we provide allows us to deliver courses not only to our local students in Derbyshire but to young people throughout the country.  

We recognise the significant rewards of learning in an outdoors environment as an extension to academic studies and design our courses to:
•    Build students confidence
•    Develop new attitudes to learning
•    Promote a sense of responsibility to the outdoors environment and its upkeep
•    Teach essential core life skills for social, team-work and communication 

The courses we deliver at Evolution Outdoors are provided by fully qualified CRB checked instructors who are experienced in providing activities to all ages and abilities. All our courses are safe as well as fun, and provide a challenging environment in which young people can excel.

Our sister company, The Adventure Trust CIC, offers a trainee instructor scheme for young aspiring outdoors instructors. The scheme provides local young people with the chance to train in the outdoors environment, gain qualifications that equip them with the skills to lead outdoors activities sessions and experience working in a busy outdoor activities social enterprise. Ultimately our trainees are provided with the skills, expertise and knowledge to find secure employment in the outdoors industry.

This year we have taken on four new trainees with funding from The Future Jobs Fund. They have now successfully completed an intensive six month training programme to gain the qualifications needed to launch a career in the outdoors industry, and are now in employment both in the UK and around the world. Previously these young people were on unemployment benefits.
